Anyone have any creative ideas for an ESL “activity” class?

At my school we teach an “activity class” or english corner where we have to play games or do activities with adult learners of all levels, mostly beginners (which makes it more difficult).
I’ve been to all the ESL websites and used those ideas, but we do this twice a day and we’re running a bit thin. Any suggestions?

im an ESL, and i started to speak English 2 years ago, and now i have to apply to college. i worked very hard at school, so my grades are good, including english, my english score is going up every semester, now it’s A, but my SAT (english) score is not high at all. and i know a lot of colleges had posted their min score for SAT, and i couldn’t reach that high. will it matter a lot? also, im like all the other students who are working very hard in school and also join a lot of activities outside of school. will the colleges reduce english requirement for ESLs?
What kind of classroom activities can you do to celebrate English Week in eighth grade?

I have to design classroom activities for my ESL students in Catano, Puerto Rico, and I would like to know if you guys know some good English language activities/competitions to improve my students’ ESL skills. I always try the traditional spelling bee, dictionary contest, poster drawing, essay writing, etc. So, I was just wondering if I could get something else that is still fun and challenging. Thank you very much in advance.
